Dr. Hoghooghi is one of the few experts in advance stem cell regeneration in Northern California. Bone regeneration, advance osseous grafting for reconstruction of dentoalveolar defects and implant reconstruction have been the focus of Dr. Hoghooghi’s practice. He has successfully restored over one thousand cases using CT guided implant placement technology.

In the summer of 2008, Dr. Massoomi co-founded Silicon Valley Surgical Arts (SVSA). The aim was to create a ‘one-stop-shop’ for anything related to the face, from facial trauma to oral surgical procedures, including the beautification of the face and smile. Part of the goal at that time was to create more convenient access to care which has come to fruition with SFSA.

Dr. Sodeifi’s scope of practice includes the full scope of advance and complex procedures in oral and maxillofacial surgery including management of both hard and soft tissue defects. He has pioneered techniques in immediate implant placement and provisionalization in order to maintain aesthetic morphology of soft tissue and comfort for patients. He attributes his extensive background in maxillofacial reconstruction and trauma surgery, both from residency training and then his previous practice in the Midwest as having led to the development of his skills in complex implant surgical cases. He works very closely with his referring doctors to optimize care for their patients. Despite his busy schedule Dr. Sodeifi continues to teach as an assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pacific in San Francisco.

Dr. Stephens has a variety of interests in oral surgery, including dental extractions, implants, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, and benign pathology. As a resident, he developed an interest in guided surgery technologies and 3D-printing applications in dental surgery. As the son of two general dentists, Dr. Stephens understands the importance of oral health. As such, he is committed to working closely with his dental referrals to provide excellent care to the diverse population of the San Francisco-Bay Area.

While at NYU, Dr. Yoshikane trained in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery including complex dental extractions, dental implant placement, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and treatment of oral cancer. She also completed an internship in General Surgery and served as chief resident during her final year of the program. Dr. Yoshikane is thrilled to be back home in California. In her free time she enjoys exploring San Francisco and spending time with her husband, Dr. Matthew Stephens, and their dog Benny. She is looking forward to serving patients in the Bay Area.
